  • Quadriderm (Betamethasone Topical) is used in the management of various allergic or immunologic skin problems.
Quadriderm action :
  • Quadriderm has anti-inflammatory, antiprutitic and vasoconstrictive properties.
  • Therapeutic effects of Quadriderm : decreased edema, erythema and pruritus.
Pharmacokinetics for Quadriderm :
Quadriderm contraindications and precautions :
  • Quadriderm (Betamethasone Topical) is contraindicated in : hypersensitivity, viral infections and fungal infections.
  • Use Quadriderm cautiously in : hepatic dysunfction, diabetes mellitus, cataracts, glaucoma, tuberculosis, geriatric persons, pregnany, lactation.
Quadriderm adverse reactions and side effects :
  • Quadriderm side effects and adverse reactions can be : glycosuria, hyperglycemia, burning, pruritus, irritation, dryness, erythema, folliculitis, striae, acneiform eruptions, perioral dermatitis, hypopigmentation, hypertrichosis, allergic contact dermatitis, secondary infection, maceration, atrophy, miliaria with occlusive dressings, hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis suppression, cushing syndrome.
Quadriderm dosage :
  • Topical administration (adults and children) : 1 - 4 times daily.
How to administer Quadriderm :
  • Apply Quadriderm (Betamethasone Topical) sparingly as a thin film to clean, slightly moist skin and don't forget to wear gloves while appling.
  • Apply occlusive dressing only if specified by physician or other health care profressional.
Useful advices on Quadriderm :
  • Quadriderm (Betamethasone Topical) is for external use only.Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Wash your hands after application of Quadriderm.
  • Stop Quadriderm and report signs of systemic absorption, skin irritation or ulceration, hypersensitivity or infection.
  • Don't use occlusive dressings.
  • Avoid sunlight on affected area because burns may occur.
